Short service commission is the most undesirable class in armed forces. Long term courses regard this as stupid. All perks of promotion and deputations including serving in high level intelligence services, foreign office attachments and even in civil services including CSS is for long term fsc based courses. Short service officers are called chacha in army and school in Navy don't exactly know about army. They are the most suffering community after a civilian officer/ employee in armed forces. Please don't join. Instead do CSS where u could be promoted without distinction.
