Precis:
The dire need of humans to nurture the moral aspect of intelligence is crucial for their sustenance. To vivify this construct the pressure is on educational institutions. Previously this was the liability of the churches,but their velleity towards worldly gains indicated by the history resulted in people's disbelief in God. Similarly, politicians abrogated ethics to seize power. *Consequently, it is now up to the teachers to fabricate the virtuous tendencies in rational development of humans and sensitize practical intelligence to basic human emotions.

I think the title "Institutionalizing Morality" is more relevant in terms of given subject matter. Your precise is better. Why not good? Because you have written lengthy and complex sentences as well like original passage and included irrelevant aspects which are highlighted in red in your precise.
