Thesis statement

Indeed, the real development lies in the quality of human resource of the country, and economic statistics, on that part, are futile scale and pitfall to measure the development.

1. What is the real development
In the 21st century, development entails 4 major aspects.
Equality
Participation
Empowerment
Sustainability

2.Global race of development: a pitfall of economic figures and statics
Is developed world is really developed? (west)
How 'the rise of rest' entraps in the race of economic statics (India, China,
Brazil etc)
Is the 21st really going toward real development? (SDG of UN)

3. Pakistan in the era of development

THE development paradox of the Pakistan high- economic growth rate and poor socio-economic indicators.

the high economic growth rate of 5.7% (32nd in the world and is being predicted have the potential to become the 10th largest economy of the world. ), but dismal human development status 147th in the world

the education budget has ascended $780 million, but abysmal education status-58% literacy rate, 24 million students out of school

Pakistan Army ranked as the World’s 13th most powerful military, but what about low social security

4. What went wrong on that part?

politics without governance
shrinking socio-economic opportunities and differential of access base on
gender and geography
institutional encroachment or imbalance
lack of a clear vision of the power elite

5.how can the country (Pakistan) achieve real development?

the answer is simple and only:people-centric developmental approaches

Pakistan has vast untapped potential and resource
60% of youth bulge should be the asset rather liability of the county
invest

Purposeful education which can meet to the tody's standards of earning of the livelihood (technical, scientific and vocational skills ) and to live (moral intellectual consciousness, and ethical and rational independent approach).

A democracy with its integral part of good governance not merely elected representative: equitable distribution of benefit of growth and easy, low cost and speedy access to basic public services (health, education, food, justice, and shelter )

the mega project like CPEC must be a game changer, in the real sense, for common people

Adequately and strategically configure the country in modern globalized, digital revolutionized word and ripe the fruit of vital geostrategic location

the contribution of media should be quality journalism, freedom and independence, justice, humaneness, and cultivating the social good
