Current Affairs and Pakistan Affairs:
a. Prepare yourself for argumentative questions by attempting past papers and analyzing which side you can defend in a concise manner.
b. Stay extremely relevant. Do not fill up pages just because someone told you that you need at least 6-7 pages. Keep you answer to the point and do not quote historical events where they are not asked.
c. Quote famous personalities (relevant, historical and contemporary).
d. When answering questions that involve Pakistan, make sure to take a pro-Pakistan view point. Criticize where need be.
e. Use flow charts and diagrams. Maps if you can manage them.
f. Most important point is to attempt at least 6-7 past papers before your actual exam and try out all above techniques and get them checked.

If you don't practice beforehand, no matter how strong your concepts, you will not get good marks because time flies during exams. Time management accounts for (30-40)% of your preparation of any subject.
