we may write precis in more than one paragraph if given passage demands,but in paper most often the given passage does not.if the given passage is too lengthy and multi dimensional then we can write in paragraphs.but no such example has been observed so far and it is most unlikely to happen in the future as well.so it is a good advice to write precis in single paragraph.stick to it.
