Unfortunately, there are no powerful or noticeable Pakistan lobbies. America always only favors Pakistan when the latter is needed for the fulfillment of its specific goals - Afghan invasion 1979, "war on terror," etc. During the 90's, Pakistan was left high and dry.
Pakistan doesn't have lobbies for multiple reasons:
- The Pakistani ex-pat community in the USA is relatively small and poor.
- Muslim American citizens are divided and a lot of them don't vote.
- There is very little cultural similarity between Pakistan and the US.
As for China, the Communist Party has reiterated only two days ago that Pakistan is it's special friend. The Chinese don't have a lobbying system as they have one-party rule.
