Default Q#4. Reasons of emerging water conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan

Ans.

Pakistan has had already been in trouble of water conflict with India. And the water conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan is posing more potential threats to Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Each tension between the bilaterally strategic countries use to have had some reasons behind that tension. Similar is the case of the conflict of water between Pakistan and Afghanistan. Which has some potential reasons posing threats to Pakistan and Afghanistan. These reasons include,

Reasons;

1. Weakening The Trend Of Trust in Each Other.

Pakistan and Afghanistan are on the Path of lacking trust in each other. Which is the most basic reason of emerging water conflict between these two countries. The reason behind this lack of trust itself includes geopolitical tension plus the complex issue of extremism and insecurity so far between Pakistan, Afghanistan and USA. Because of which USA is still involved against extremism and insecurity in Afghanistan - posing threats to Pakistan. Which emerge water conflict.

2. Strategic Tension.

Strategic policies of both of the countries of Pakistan and Afghanistan not befitting each other can result in the emerging water conflict between these two countries.

Sound strategic policies between any two adjacent countries like Pakistan and Afghanistan can soothe a lot of imminent combine issues.

As this is the case of water conflict so there is a need of steps to be adopted in the strategic policies of both of these two countries to root out the potential water conflict for each other.

3. Economic Tension.

Pakistan and Afghanistan not supporting each other on the economic front can emerge the water conflict. As the water resource boosts the industrial sector of a country, where dams are built and the scarcity of electricity is depleted to boost the economy by running machineries in the industrial sector of a country.

4. Political Tension.

Pakistan and Afghanistan not backing up each other in the political arena can lead to water conflict between these two countries.

Examples can be cited from the time gone back in history and moving ahead. Like the US Af-Pak policy does not favour both of these countries on equal grounds as per the criterion of the United States of America (USA) and the anlysis of experts here. The politics of Afghanistan did favour the Af-Pak policy of the USA , while on the other hand this policy inflicted a lot the sovereignty of Pakistan.

5. Security Tension.

Peace is the most prompt demand for the whole world today, especially for Pakistan and Afghanistan.

The Internal and external security of Pakistan and Afghanistan needs the same points to be there in the security policies of both of these two countries. Otherwise this difference can easily emerge the water conflict between the country of Pakistan and the country of Afghanistan.

6. Geopolitical Tension.

The geopolitical tension between Pakistan and Afghanistan is another reason of the emerging water conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan, especially with reference to the American involvement in between these two countries, specifically with a big chasing involvement of the USA in Afghanistan, posing threats to the country of Pakistan's security on both the national and international profiles.

7. Lack Of Opportunities For Each Other.

The lack of opportunities in the educational sector as well as the employment sector between the countries of Pakistan and Afghanistan is inflicting the relationship between both of these two countries. Which is also a reason of the emerging water conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan - not getting in the utilization for each other.
