Precis:
The unfortunate character of human nature is his envy to others. An envious person finds pleasure from pain of others. Since the passion of enviousness is so fatal it should be kept in check. Highly skilled people by doing their work right have an edge over others, but enviousness can't accept it. However, there is a passion of admiration that diminishes envy and increase happiness. Selflessness and happiness can alleviate envy. But real life is not so logical as such.
