One of the perks that I presume is that you will be posted at airports which are generally safe and well maintained, and there is only a handful of them. Moreover, you could be able to get a plot in the ASF society. However, the universal perk of any permanent government job would be job security. So, no one can sack you. But, the duty hours are long and in case of an emergency or unforeseen circumstances, you will have to be there. Otherwise, the salaries are not amazing but you get medical reimbursement and other allowances. Last but not the least, you get to have an arms license for the rest of your life.
