There has been anarchy and contravention in Pakistan for quite some time, in which the politicians as well as the institutions have been found implicated.

There is no rule of law in the country as the Election Commission postponed elections until October 8, 2023, giving an inappropriate reason, even if the court proclaimed a verdict to hold elections in Punjab and KPK recently. It has caused not just anarchy but unrest in the country.

Having said that, general elections, federal and provincial, must be announced and held throughout Pakistan rather than separate elections in the two provinces.

What is a guarantee that under those circumstances, which the EC pretended were the reason it could not hold an election in April, they will not prevail in October?

The politicians ostensibly seem to have used their power in making EC postpone the elections. In fact, it is demanded that the institutions be reformed and depoliticized so as to function independently according to the law in Pakistan.
