Why do we have a leap year

Calculations
One solar day = 24 Hours ?
Not exactly, it's slightly longer
We loose 59.17808220 seconds a day when we say it's equal to 24 hours
This means
59.17808220 x 365 = 21600 seconds a year
21600 divided by 60 = 360 minutes a year
360 divided by 60 = 6 hours a year (6 hrs is one quarter of a day)
6 Hours per year x 4 years = 24 hours after 4 years

Theory and some interesting facts by auntie in this video
