We blame ourselves today for not producing good, popular and strong politicians, but we are unable to look into the past and see what we have done to our politicians. Our first popular prime minister who was also a great orator of his times was an example for the students of politics and international relations, specially after his heart winning speeches in United Nations security Counsil. His speeches were an asset for our students of politics, but unfortunately our non-sense and indifferent dictator ordered PTV to vanish all such things.
Then look, what we did to our next popular prime minister, Nawaz Sharif. He completed the incomplete task of our nuclear program which was started by ZA bhutto in the seventies.
It looks as if in our country, becoming a hero is like doing a sin.
Another aspect could be that these two were wishing to make pakistan insdispensable in the times to come and this was unbearable by our enemies. Like Henry kissinger had told Bhutto, that they will make an example of him and they did so. In case of Mr. Sharif, Clinton had called him many times and tried to stop him from conducting any nuclear explosion, and result of denial is in front of every one of us.
