U.S needs the following policy options to have good relations with china,

1, leave the policy of containment of china, indo us nuclear accord 2005 etc
2, withdraw support from rebel groups in Sinkiang province of china, Rabia Qadeer leader of the rebels sitting in U.S
3, Support one china policy and withdraw from supporting Taiwan militarily,
4, Have good relations with friends of China, especially Pakistan.
5, Economically U.S needs to have recognise china as an economic giant and never to take such an action which hurts chinese economy,
6, withdraw support from Dalai lama of Tibet who is regarded as a rebel in China.
