For Pakistan Affairs there hundered of books availble but it doesnt mean that u have to study all.

For CSS point of you one need to be to the point and make things easy for himself/herself.

Study any one book or if that enough somwhere then another one but not more than this.

Study the Muslim reformist movements of shah waliulllah, mujadad alaf sani and sir syed ahmad khan.

Ideology of pakistan, two-nation theory and aligharrh movement.

then start from 1857 war of independence and cover the most important events regarding exam point of view till 1947,.

After 1947 study initianl problems of pakistan, hurdels in the way of democracy, Islamaization, and some current events like war of terrorism, economic melt down etc.

and through this way you will cover Pak-Affair very easily.
