Default My attempt for precis of 1996

Despite all the advancements in the field of science, man hasn’t been able to figure out the purpose of his life. Though Darwin’s theory is universally accepted, yet it only deals with physical interaction. No attempt has been made to create relationship between man’s physical-self and his environment. One of these factors is dominant over the other resulting in a society based on monetary gains. The dominant philosophies of capitalism and socialism have hampered the cultural and social development of man. Conflicts and consequent attitudes have changed the meaning of life and power. Scientists, because of their submissive nature towards the leaders, have led people into a state of fear of self-destruction. This whole scenario raises questions regarding the role of scientists, leader, religion and man in a society. There is an absence of purpose of man’s creation because the universe, life and man have not been seen as a collective system.
