My suggestion is to practice precis of past years. What I have analysed is that the greatest problem in CSS precis is to understand the paragraph. Rewriting it in limited words is not as difficult as is to fathom what exactly the paragraph is conveying to us. So focus on past papers to know what type of precis are given and practice them.
