Dear, as per your info 669 students out of 900 have Punjab domicile. This means that
74.33% are from Punjab & the quota assigned to Punjab is
50% which is proportionate to its population. Now 74% people will compete for 50% of seats.
Don't u think that its fair to provide an opportunity to candidates belonging to provinces other then Punjab to compete the seats allocated to their region. This translates to
representation of different regions in the bureaucracy with respect to their population size. I think it further strengthens the provincial harmony.
