Lol trust me. real Islam has much in common with real socialism,None of them has been practiced in its pure form.Islam was pure only in Prophet's timeafter his demise:muslims were so freaking greedy that they started an uprising against Prophet's own son in law,Hazrat Ali(A.S) after the martyrdom of Hzrat Umer Farooq(A.S.) and Hazrat Abubakar(A.S.). Now i am not a shia ,in fact i do not believe in sectarianism but the more I am researching into the Islamic history and the contemporary history,I see a very interesting trend.Islam was already on the brink of destruction when Imam Hussayn(A.S.) was martyred.Yazeed was a womanizer and its widely documented that he found solace in alcohol and liked to keep the comapny of women. So women fell from their position,the respected,loved and taken care of positions to the very ground-level where they were at from the centuries.

The problem is not the woman,its in being a woman and asking for her mere rights.The only reason women have been subjugated for centuries is their physical condition which is ofcourse much weaker than men.Before the ploy was that adam ate the apple cuz of Eve,so punish all the daughters of Eve by subjugating them,by making them sex slaves,depriving her of education,basic rights and sacrificing her on every altar possible.Two majors Monotheistic religions(Christianity and Judaism) of the world believe that.Islam is the only one which puts the blame of eating the forbidden fruit on both Adam and Eve.

Now talking about Islam brings me to another point,which is the fear of God.When a muslim man or woman spends his or her life according to the principles of Islam,he does so in order to please Allah.Everytime they help someone,take care of haqooq ul ibad they know they are doing it for the sake of Allah.But when the fear of God,khaufe khuda becomes a distant thought,and man becomes god or starts misusing his physical or financial powers,thats when catastrophe happens.

Hazrat Zainab (A.S.) ,female,revolutionist,a great orator,member of Prophet (PBUH)'s family was forced to go through 36 cities bareheaded by the so called muslims and some of the worst men ever.She continues to be my guiding star.Jeanne de Arc,strong fearless burnt by men.Olympe de Gouges, the woman who counter attacked declaration of rights of men by writing declaration of rights of women,highly controversial document at the time.Rabia Basri,great Sufi poet,and probably the only woman in high sufi orders...

examples are a lot.I can go and on.But nothing will change the condition of women.Many of the rights that first wave and second wave feminists fought for are still to be granted.Women are still playing in the hands of men even though when they think they are emancipated.sometimes willingly,sometimes unwillingly.

Somewhere she is battered in the name of religion,somewhere in the name of society and somewhere in the name of liberty.and funny thing is,she accepts the situation.Sometimes she talks back but today real feminism is extinct only pseudo feminism exists which is nothing but a heartless effort by a few people to get famous and make their name.

I wish someone would bring real Islam back,but who,these 72 sects who all believe in their own *real* Islam.

My answer to fight this devastating situation is to live your life as you wish but in the limits prescribed by your family and religion. Improve your literary skills and beat the world with the rod of your education.Trust me Quran shareef and Sunnat is the best thing that u can copy but read Quran shareef yourself first without anyone explaining it,the right guidance will come in due time and read the 6 authentic books of Sunnah.Thats it. Quran Shareef puts a lot of light on how women should be treated.
