Main thing is reason of deletion. Why a thread is deleted ? Member does not know the reason but Active Mod. knows it. Sometimes it creates tiff between members & mods.

Yes a 'Deletion Thread' is the right solution and applicable too. I suggest the following columns in 'Deletion Thread'.

Member's Name........... Title of Deleted Thread........... Reason
XYZ .............................aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa ........... Duplicate/Rules Violation

In my view, a unchecked box is used for the deleted thread so that it could not be seen at forum. Some site development will be required to produce 'Reason of Deletion' in a tool like combo box.
