Well they may be located in west asia (if you say so) but they are not called midde asia..but middle east..
Its simply betwwen near east (southen parts of Africa ANd mediterrain countries and Far east ( Thai land phillipne somewhat Burma.)

So area betwwen Near east and far east is middle east.
and yes be carefull the terms are not geographical but more political and social..SO there may be some deviation from exact gographic positions.
And not all Middle east countries are Arab. take Iran for example..Its just by chance that most Middle east countries are Arab.
