Pakistan is currently facing a serious challange of food insecurity and lates, modern and innovative techniques in agriculture needs to be initiated to ensure food security.

Of course multi-cropping will help a lot to serve the purpose.
It will stratify the day-to fluctuations in commodity prices, if one crop is not getting much price other crop will balance the share.

It would maximize the farm and non farm income also

For multi cropping extenaion and training compoment should play vital role to enrich the farming community with information regarding multicropping and their enhanced nutritions needs as well.

Moreover, income diversification interventions must be initiated besides the traditional cropping i.e Dairy/Poultry/Fish farming, Bee keeping, Off-Seasonal vegetables, Nursery raising, Milk collection, etc
