Lightbulb Retention Rates

How much we remember depends a lot on how information is presented to us.

See/Hear ***5%
Reading ********10%
Video/Audio Visual*************20%
Demonstrations ********************30%
Discussion Group ***************************50%
Practice by Doing **********************************75%
Teaching Others ***************************************90%
Immediate application of learning****************************90%

As you can see, one of the best ways to remember something is to teach it to someone else. Even pretending to teach to someone else is a good way to remember more.
Immediately applying what you learn is important. If you can’t apply immediately, visualize how you would apply the mateiral.
