DC or DCO is more powerfull in a district. DPO is brought to book by DC, and when ever DPO wishes to go out of his district, he has to bring it in notice of DC.
And in district Judicial magistrate, Civil Judge, and Session judge also practices the power. Session judge is more powerfull than all, because he deals henious cases and DPO is again under him. He can give Showcause notices to DPO.

And @ Raz....I am second to your words, because" SHO APNE AREA KA BADSHAH HOTA HAI".

Many a times it happens that SHO lodges an FIR, even DPO directs him not to do it.

But in current scenario DPO's are all under the POLITICAL Impact, so an SHO has just become a showpiece.
