In democracy, it's the public opinion that rules. When respected president was leaving for United Kingdom, the whole media groups were criticizing his decision.
Public polls on media showed great anger. PML(N) and MQM are considered as the two parties having almost opposite ideologies and they are always at daggers drawn with each other. But, both parties were united at opposing this decision. Zardari had a fair excuse to procrastinate his visit. Just after he left, the flood situation worsened even more and to add to the injury, target killing erupted in Karachi. Now, it was the time for Zardari and PPP to show some political maturity and profess their very favorite reconciliation policy ( that had already met a dead end in Karachi where gangsters of MQM, ANP and PPP initiated massive killing of the innocent citizens of Karachi ). But president was looking so happy-go-lucky when he landed from plane wearing casual jeans. A president in jeans --- on foreign visit holding hands of similarly dressed queen, Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari ( who is supposed to wear a big Sindhi chaddar when she comes to Islamabad or Larkana ). The nation was mourning and president was rejoicing with his teeny-weeny kids.
So, president met the fate which he deserved.
