There are several ways to control the crazy mob, like tear gas, shelling of rubber bullets, aerial firing, pouring pressure water etc. If the mob is going to harm the life and property then baton charging and bullets in feet is also an option with police for maintenance of law and order. There are instruments which are used as safeguards for police force while tackling with riots. But our police is still inefficient and lacks resources to couple with such situations. Anyhow, police performs duty heroically when case is related to poor or weak people.
