I am not an expert, with best of my senses you could quote Quranic verses depending on your expertise.
If you can quote original verse in Arabic with translation and reference, it will definitely be the best thing.
If you could not quote arabic verse, you may put the translation with reference then.
Make sure that reference should be quoted when you are sure about that, otherwise you may generally quote the verse or translation without it.
Even you can quote Iqbal's verses which you feel relevant to the context of the topic.
