there has been considerable option presented for the possible soluton of the kashmir issue by many personalities/think tanks/organizations

however, last week i came to know another possible solution, which was deliberated by one of the best friend of mine (azhar ali kayani), first of all perhaps his introduction could show his mind stability !!, he is from kotli distt of aj&k, he remained in PMA for more than a year than he had stomach ulcer nd had medical board so left the army, he had done msc. in chemistry with gold medal from aj&k univ., he had twice passed the test of asp in aj&k, nd we remained in the same year for taking css, on 25th of last month he took interview of his asp test at kashmir house, islamabad. however, could not succeed. during 50 minutes interview, he was asked about the possible solution of the kashmir issue, he told them :

'" the all parties hurriyat conference must take part in the elections to be conducted in the indian held kashmir and aj&k under supervision of UN

the election makes the change/diference, as the elections of 1946 lead to the partition of british india, election of 1971 lead to seperation of east Pakistan and elections in USSR in late eighties lead to her disintegration

the result of the elections will show the will of the people, if people vote for the all parties hurriyat conference in indian side, it means they are the true representatives of the will of the people, and they can table talk with the india and Pakistan and their views should be listened to all because without the will and determination of the people are the main points for any boundry change.

any how, at that juncture one of eight board members (interview board) said him that the all parties hurriyat conference, in this way, loose the elections, azhar replied that it means the aphc do not have the mass support, if they have then they will win the elections and change is inevitable, perhaps this was a turning mind for many members and caused his failure in the interview'''''''''

nonetheless, the chenab formula was presented by sikandar hayat sb, p.m of aj&k for which he is till now facing trial in the court. the formula proposed division of kashmir on the river chenab sides

the president of Pakistan distributed the kashmir into perhaps five regions, this formula was moreorless the same as presented by indians in 50s. whatsoever the circumstances for them were in 50s, however, it means that Pakistan now wants a solution of the kashmir and give and take situation is there, prior to it, Pakistan claimed on whole of kashmir, which in my thinking wont be feasible in the current senario !!

look the will of people a region and of parties involved is certainly main drive for solution of any problem, same is the case with the kashmir, first of all elections should be conducted in the kashmir (IHK) and the result would show the will of people after which mass movement could be initiated by them and also in Pakistan driven by the government. this will likely to enhance the position of Pakistan worldover, which is nowadays considered as an agressor in kashmir. but the foreign policy and media of Pakistan is not that tough as is of indian side, perhaps the change will occur here !!! so we could be able to present our view world over and get the support from many countries.

seperation of kashmir can be considered a seperate country with open borders and no army as switzerland is and it can easily generate its resources only through tourism easily

however, it wont be done as think tanks/hawks in both india and Pakistan wont allow it

but mind it that india had remained trying to instigate the people of northern areas against Pakistan as she done in the east Pakistan and her media has also played positive role in it, however, by the grace of Allah it has not been done
