If someone discussed anything about freedom wars i.e Kashmir, Palestine, Kurdistan etc, s/he would be going off the track. However, if you write in perspective of Israeli and Indian suppression of public voices (read Freedom Movements) in Palestine and Kashmir, then it might get some weight. Nevertheless, one would require strong arguments to validate this point. Keeping the controversies out of the discussion when one fears mishandling them is essential in writing any discourse. If you are confident at handling them, only then put your hands on it.
