I agree with this that many Kashmiris are now in the favour of independent Kashmir, but the percentage mentioned is an exaggaration. Why Exaggaration ? Yes because they generally look towards Azad jamu Kashmir kind of soloution influence some how by Pakistan. Its also true that Pakistan have only made the issue alive yet no precedings are yet made inspite keeping it alive.
Case is still there, Refrendum is the only soloution to this issue, as far as concern to the india, It doesnt matter whether Pakistan make it alive or not unless we made some solid diplomatic move because their army is already engagged . Pakistan should not only support Kashmiris in every options they chose but also make them realise that they are right option for them.
