Dear Friend Aslmoakm!

I thought someone else might have better ideas to lay the foundation stone for the essay but i shall reproduce the highlights of the essay written by me in css 06 essay paper on the same topic.

*) History of Pakistani politics could be traced back from the events of shimla deputation and the formation of Muslim league in 1906. Personalities like Nawab Muhsin and Vaqar Ul mUlk , Sir Agha Khan and few others played a vital role in setting the script and theme for the events to come.

*) Pakistan's emergence as a nation-state was the outcome of a great constitutional movement, called Pakistan movement, in which personalities like the Quaid and the Allama played a vital role by providing a high profile leadership to the nation.

*) The historic personalities of the Pk movement possessed the vision and the
wisdom to lead the nation from adversity to prosperity and provided the nation with doctrines like two nation theory, which provided the framework and the guiding principles for the political activities.

*) The second generation and their predessor, leaders of the state belonged to a different and had their own personal feaudalistic agendas to work on, rather than the nation building.

*) Contemporary Pakistani politics is in the most rotten form, as the political parties revolve around specific personalities and their views rather than their own declared charter. They lack the democratic organisational setup and are unable to provide the platform where public could participate in order to persue their political and legal ideals. They have no roots in public and are unable to breed new leadership.

*) The personalised nature of political organisations lead to the institutional clash in the country, as the leaders of political parties, have no deep roots in populace and the lack of public backing up leads them to an inferior and feable position, against the strong bureaucracy of the state.

*) The general public has been hijacked by the political leaders, as they have no decisive contribution in the national politics. Leadership is busy in doing other things than nation building, which is contrary to the objectives of pakistan movement and the ideology of pk.

*) The Pk Movement was largely a constitutional movement, in order to get the legal rights for the muslim community from the state, but lacked the social development perspective. It succeeded in getting a seperate state
for muslims but was unable to do any real improvement in the social and civilizational behaviour of the nation. Work was half done.

*) The need of the time is that pakistan should undergo a nationwide revolutionary movement, based on the social and civilisational aspects of life. Social institutions should be revitalised. Health, education, justice, law and order, poverty alleviation, and relating welfare state activities, should be promoted on the revolutionary basis.

*) The demand for pakistan was a demand far a true welfare nation-state run by the muslims of indo-pak, not just a state.
