Dear member,

Religious intolerance is due to two extremes in a society of same religion generally and to others particularly. One stands for separation of state affairs from religion called as liberal and the other who favors religions as an essential ingredient of statecraft called extremists, religious or whatsoever.

Liberals consider that religion is a personal matter while the other group stands for its implementation with force or voluntarily i.e. its practices and place it a matter of common benefit.

When their clash reaches to extreme then it bring destruction to the society which results in using force which results in bloodshed. In Islam personally no one has the right to punish someone on any ground and it is matter of state to comprehend culprits. So, in a nutshell, to me religious intolerance is to forcefully impose one's ideas on others.
