Pages do NOT matter at all! I wrote 11 pages and there was this guy next to me who was writing 4-5 words per line and giving double spaces between each line (approx 70-80 words max/page). Meanwhile I was writing 7-8 words in each line and almost 30 lines on each page which means 200+ words/page. He ended up using 24 pages and I was like wtf? There is no benefit of writing 24 pages. Infact, writing with huge gaps gives a negative impression as it does not looks presentable and is against general etiquettes of writing. It is a competition exam and trust me, if your word count is complete, number of pages do not matter
