Muslims were greedy for the Rule its a fact . ( jihad is for the interests of Islam not for personal interests )
if we put ourselves in the shoes of original inhabitants of subcontinent we may see that conquest of sub continent was in fact a lust to expand empire and religion was a secondary objective in their agenda , may be a by-product .

Islam never teaches to behave badly with parents as Muslim emperor did .
they killed , imprisoned & amputated father, brothers relatives etc. they were barberic , they used the sword of Islam to subjugate many in a cruel non islamic way . Hindu rajas were also of the same temperament but infact we dont expect from them .In reality that was a time of imperialism and imperials don't have any religion
