I agree with your point. However, I personally believe that television is not just the only way to inlfuence or change and it's not just the only part of media. Yes, it can play an immense role but if that doesn't work, we do have alternatives. You might agree with me that the movie "Khuda ke Liye" impacted many of us. It was a huge success. Many people started questioning, and pondering on various issues. In fact, even here - the forum - a discussion regarding music in context to Islam was initiated. Moreover, those among us who are highly educated like professors, or writers should start from their respective fields. A teacher can influence to a great extent. A writer can inlfuence the mind. If not television, then we can use magazines, seminars, books, etc etc. Besides, we can use such forums and such discussions. Many more ways will surface if only we want to find them.
