As a kid, i was very very careless and lazy, and to be honest still i retain these habits
.For they say, young habits die hard.
Dad was posted in Swabi those days and the environment was pretty native. Reptiles and amphibians were in abundance and some would sneak inside the living portions of the house. I used to throw my school bag on the floor as soon as i would return from school and carry it to school the other day without checking it. It so happened one fine day that when I took out a book for reading from my bag in class, a frog jumped out of my bag and started frolicking towards the door
. As was i was back bencher, it travelled the whole class to bid us farewell. Then came out the 2nd one, a wave of astonishment swept around the classes, and as third froggie jumped out, it was followed by a roar of laughter by my class-fellows.
Funny things happen in life only to become cherished memories later.
