As far as personality disorders are concerned, they were previously regarded as character disorders by many mental health professionals. But with the passage of time, some points can be found against this notion. According to them, there is a difference between personality and character so how come personality disorders can be taken as character disorders. But the number of evidences in support of this idea (personality and character disorders are same) outweigh the evidences against it.
In psychosis, main disorders include Schizophrenia and mania and other disorders having a presentation of psychotic features (hallucinations, delusions, disorganized speech and catatonic behaviors). But while writing about schizophrenia, better to write shortly about its subtypes too.
Mood, eating and substance related disorders come under the main heading of Clinical Disorders according to multiaxial system given in DSM-IV-TR.
