I don't think so this difference would mattter.You can confirm this by analyzing the text and writing format of poetry's book.
Shareef kunjahi writes in Punjabi that is the language of Gujrati punjabians.
Baqi siiddiqui does with pothohari punjabi
Ahmad Rahi in typical or you can say in general format.
But all these books are of punjabi... got my point.So feel relaxed while doing with your natural punjabi tone.Yes, be careful about exact format .....If english paper examiner can't neglect spelling mistakes then punjabi examiner can't compromise with these little mistakes of format....that is what i believe.
