First of all Not a big fan of Hasan Nisar, nevertheless his views regarding revolution are hard to disagree with if you read up on the history of various revolutions; especially the Russian revolution.
Revolutions are only effective if they succeed in transforming institutions rather than merely bringing about a change of leadership. The new leadership must have the capability, vision and power to rearrange the preceding structure of state institutions. And the sad truth is such leaders are extremely rare, hence the pessimistic attitude regarding revolutions is not very unrealistic.
