The deal between MQM & PPP has been struck consists of two phases:

1. Starting its implementation from Hyderabad and Karachi, these Divisions will be given under the Mayors or political agents and other district officials will be under their orders.

2. The local body elections will be held before March and Commissionerate System will be merged into Sindh Local Government Ordinance (SLGO) and Local Government officials will be given administrative and financial powers on the pattern of Local Govt. Ordinance 2001 introduced by Mr. Musharaf.

If above conditions are not met MQM will make Govt. in Sindh with the party that will accept their demand of abolishing Commissionerate System. Earlier when these killings started in Karachi, I thought that MQM has many other reservations except restoration of LBS but today’s newspapers reveal that they only have ONE demand which is the restoration of Local body system and scrapping Commissionerate System.

By looking at PPP’s hunger for power specially Mr. President’s tactics of launching his son in politics and wishing to see him on the positions of PM, he will not even think about leaving MQM for a single second. MQM phir election jeet jayegi aur agli Govt. mein shamil hone ke liye wo phir apni shartein rakhe gi aur jo party wo mane gi MQM unke saath hogi. Ab to MQM ne aik aur cheez seekh lee hai who hai “MASS KILLINGS AUR GENOCIDE”. By looking at the pressure of Nawaz Shareef, Imran Khan and poor governance, black mailing PPP and getting approved all conditions is just like a piece of cake for parties like MQM. PPP has no policy, stance and principles and they will accept everything. Their acceptance of PML Q once called Qatil Leage is the evidence of their policy and thought process.

To me now DMG group has no future in Sindh, DMG officials will have huge work load in the far flung areas of interior Sindh but powers will belong to Local Govt. officials.
