Default Please help.......regarding mercantile law

Salam

I am confused about something and need your help. I took Mercantile Law as one of my optionals for CSS-2006 without looking at the past papers. I had the experience of mercantile law in the B.Com examinations, and assumed that CSS Mercantile Law would be similar to B.Com's .But the CSS paper was way advanced because of the examiner's asking case laws and section numbers. I gave the examination not knowing what the result would be. My entire paper took 4 or 5 pages, as I didn't write any case law examples or section numbers, however, my MCQs were almost all correct and my judgements on the cases were also correct.

I had already decided that next time I would drop mercantile law and take something else. But I was shocked when I found that I got 69 in it. Now I am confused whether to drop it or not, as I dont know the criteria on the basis of which he gave me the marks. Please advice me what to do and also tell me if anybody has a similar experience regarding mercantile law.
