The written exam or the over all exam result including interview and medical etc. Is the merit number allotted twice ? i mean at result of written and then after overall result.plz reply
Dear, after written result, the candidates who failed they hav been given their marks sheets and who passed, their marks sheet etc is kept secret.

Then there is psychological test and interview and after that a result is issued including merit number of each candidate.

Lastly, final result (which include group allocation) is declared.
This is the final result of CE2010 (including groups of each candidate).

Hope everything would be clear to you now.

P.S: Merit number is allotted once after interview and then final group allocation list(as this one).

Merit number is allotted on the basis of written(1200) plus interview marks(300).

i.e, written 1200 marks + interview 300 marks = merit number.
