Yes definately Pakistan seriously needs to revisit its foreign policy otherwise we will have to suffer much more than we have suffered during last 60 years.but this is not an easy task.
First step towards this goal is to trust our neighbours and brother muslim countries more than we do trust western countries or super powers.its very unfortunate that Muslims don't trust their muslim brethren but are willing to trust others.its result we can see in muslim countries like Libya,Afganistan etc.we must stop to act on the dictates of US or any other country regarding formulation of our relations with our neighbours particularly Iran, china,India or Afganistan.what we have achieved out of this enemity with India or poor relations with Afganistan?nothing.but we can gain alot out of good relations with our neighbours.
But before revisiting our foreign policy Pakistan needs stable economy for which we must try our best to get rid of the curse of foreign aid.because until we are dependent on that aid, dreaming to revisit our foreign policy independent of foreign pressure or influence will never translate into reality.
