You're taking the wrong approach. First select the topics you want to prepare for, current affairs, Islamic affairs, issues related to women, social issues etc. (There is a comprehensive list in the essay preparation sticky post). Go through the essay past papers, and you'd see that there is a pattern. Some topics are almost always repeated. Choose 2 or 3 of these topics, and prepare very well for them. Open ended preparation for CSS essay paper is a big mistake!

To attempt a literary essay you must be very very well read. To be able to quote from history, philosophy or psychology to support a adage or a quote is not easy. You can't write your personal experience and hope that the examiner would be empathetic enough to pass you It's best to avoid the literary and philosophy topics in essay.
