Now why I am saying this. I personally know few people who are hired this time and they have definitely NO REFERENCE or your SO CALLED POLITICAL INFLUENCE behind them. I do not deny the fact that there is no reference based hiring but if you believe that this is totally MORPHED hiring, then sorry brother, you are absolutely mistaken.

And do you believe interview would have not carried any marks? Definitely it would have. Was the weightage of test 100%? I doubt it. I went through LDA recruitment test, and they had the following weightage:

50% Test, 35% Educational Background, 15% Interview

I topped the test there too (at least amongst those who were given offer) and got 2nd number in merit only due to 1 mark deficiency in my Educational Background. I have studied in Top Institutions of this country. Now, should I challenge this criteria that why this 35% weightage has been given to Educational Background and on what grounds did they gave me less marks? This is their policy matter and my dear friend, policies in any organization are not disclosed to publics.

I came to know of this criteria once I succeeded and for everyone's information, I WAS OFFERED POST TOTALLY ON MERIT And if courts start intervening in all Policy matters, I believe there is no need for Governing bodies as well. Not even Govt, not even Institutions, not even CSPs.

I belong to a family of all Public Service people so using influence wont be an issue for me, but still, I have gone for merit thing and I have been optimist all the times.

If you believe, the interviews are fake, then those who scored less marks in Interviews of CSS also may say that Bhagwan Das sahab was perhaps biased against them, hence making the apprarently most Merit-based hiring in Pakistan controversial as well. And in such case, if CSS hiring is not on merit, then I wonder which one would be .

Once again, I do not say that its 100% merit but its definitely 60%+ merit. If you want to challenge it, I will and I cannot say anything coz this is your basic right but you would definitely be depriving those 60%+ people of their right because those who are to be hired on reference would remain there, no matter how hard you try.

All I can suggest as a brother to you is to stay calm and stay optimistic . Rest upon you.
Your right bro i do understand your point. And i also know many 'ordinary' guys who got the job without any sifarish. But what i am asking them is to publish the merit list so that we know on what grounds the appointments were made. Its not too much to ask as we have the right to know. LDA was very good in publishing all the merit lists and so everyone knew where one stands. But this hiring behind closed doors is a cause of concern atleast for me. I Know a guy securing just 63 marks for the highly contested post of engineer getting hired. I want to know his marks in the interview... Even If he scored a 100 out of 100 in the interview thats fine with me.. But if its 101 out of 100 then i have a problem
