For Pakistan Affairs apply the below strategy. InshALLAH you'll rock...

1 - Ideology of Pakistan, Advent of Muslims in Sub-continent, and Reformational Movements from Pakistan Affairs by Ikram Rabbani
2 - Role of Ulema and Sufic Orders (Silsilahs) (search it from net or any other book if u find it)
3 - Pre-partition Part from Trek to Pakistan (this book cover complete Pre-Partition part)
4 - Post Partition (after 1947) Part of Pakistan Affairs from Pak Affarirs by Ikram Rabbani
5 - Current Topics prepare from Dawn and net
