that depends upon the policy as per ESR(employees service rule book) of that organization if the employee can resign with a prior notice of 15 to 30 days then there is no harm in not mentioning the fact mentioned above however this is valid only for new appointees as they dnt possess any experience.As far as experienced personnel are concerned they must apply through proper channel to add their service in the later organization!!!
