Brother ! These books cover pre-partition period. And are regarded good books for the preparation of that era. However , the paper also contains questions on post-partition period. For this one has to consult Internet , newspapers and magazines like now a days Jahangirs World Time is a better source. There is a book by Ikram Rabbani though that doesn't has standard material ,yet contains all material of post-partition era. I mean material on Problems pakistan faced at the time of her birth constitutional development , economic and agricultural problems and potential , governance and prospects of democracy in this land of pures etc. Yes one more thing our foreign policy , it's ingredients and pillars our relations with India , China , Afghanistan , U. S. A and Muslim Countries. Then there is local govt system as well. These all things you will have to prepare either from Ikram Rabbani or will have to take help from Internet or from newspapers and magazines. There may be some other books as well in market covering post partition period. But it is believed in this regard , Ikram Rabbani's book is a better choice.
I used
For pre- partition : Trek to Pakistan by Ahmad Saeed.
For post- partition: Ikram Rabbani , Internet , newspaper,Jahangirs World Times magazine and few discussions on CSS Forums proved helpful in this regard.
