Brother there is no single book covering syllabus of Arabic. Prof. Hafiz Arshad Sahb 's notes in printed form are studied for it's preparation along with a book by Ahmad Hasan Zayat "Tareekh e Adab e Arabi "
If you have to start it , first see past papers of the subject and have familiarity with the nature and pattern of the papers and check your aptitude for this subject. If you are convinced that you can handle this subject then start give it a go and start preparing it from Translation Portion.
