Anyways, both countries depend on each other and when the biggest issue between two nations is that of currency manipulation, they can hardly be called enemies.
US cannot stand on itself as its more than 50% of energy resources are imported and she has to depend on imports unless she finds any alternate energy resource. And China has made the world dependent on its products with low prices.

Chicago summit and US conference to check the missile technology in the world was mocked by russia by just launching the world`s best missile to counter US missile defence system just after 4 days of that conference. These are another two examples apart from syrian issue. And Russia assumes america as its major opponent in curbing russia`s energy resources in central asia.
