You are right. One should avoid mentioning any weakness which may create a negative image of oneself. Sometimes, a thing which may appear to be a weakness in your eyes may be a strength in other's eyes. Like I mentioned excessive socialization as my weakness. But I added that I am trying to bring a balance between private and social life. So if you mention any weakness, also try to add that you are getting upper hand upon that...
As far as the command task is concerned, you don't need to assign roles. I remember, it was explicitly mentioned on our task sheets that we don't need to assign any such role.
